If you go out of the lane more than 2 times (may be 3) in a drive, when driving manually that will come up. It's like that on all Teslas for as far back as I can remember.

Edit: For the CT it means the notification is disabled for the rest of the drive.

CT does not have the lane departure avoidance feature yet. I was curious if any other owners have seen this error message since the overnight software update

This error was caused by another issue relating to camera or FSD feature. When you go to service mode, the alert panel should show the detail issue such as how/when it happened and when it was cleared.

I have the same message today on 26.11 FW and it was because the main camera pitch suddenly out of specs for 1 minute.

Yes same here and it resets and goes away after the vehicle is in park.

I have lane departure avoidance on my CT. At least I think that it is what it is called. If I drift out of the lane and not paying attention, the vehicle beeps at me to get back into the lane.

Isn't that lane departure avoidance?

Yes, it is...but it seems, not all trucks have this feature. I've brought it up here before and even the service center is unsure.

I do have the option to select the feature on, however, I receive ZERO notifications, unlike our model 3.

It's a Cyber Mystery.

That is really stupid, Tesla could be liable for any accident that happens because of this. Imagine the brakes stop working because the car had to break by itself 3 times. Are not all these features supposed to help prevent accidents?

My lane departure disables if it beeps once. I agree that if I got out of the lane shouldn't I need the safety feature more but then it is disabled. Hopefully this gets fixed as you get more forgiveness with autopilot violations than lane departure.....also wouldn't need lane departure if we had autopilot...

I noticed this after my software updated to 2024.26.11. During my recent road trip, it came out now and then. When I crossed the lane line by accident, sometimes it beeped and sometime it showed this message. The font size is so small so it took me a while to figure this out. I don't think my drive pattern changes. So I ignore it now after I know what is said on the screen.

But still, Elon Musk, being so pro free-speech, doesn't seem as pro free-will. Why does everyone hates speed cameras, and anything that forces us to do what we supposed to be doing willingly? It's because treads on our free will. I believe Elon, without realizing it, is setting a precedent for absolute control. This lane departure disable feature could open the door for government to block our cars if we get 2 speeding tickets.
