I saw only handful YT posts some still pictures of cybertruck pulling a trailer. Is the design, or production planning, being carried out somewhere/somehow, or it was just some nice looking-forward-to?

Would love it if anyone can share some links/info in this regard.

Well, there is a listed towing capacity and Tesla now officially supports towing with the Model Y and current Autopilot.

Aside from that, we don't know.

The TriMotor will be able to pull any trailer up to 14000 lbs that has been loaded to keep the tongue weight weight in the envelope. It will have some extra software for sway mitigation. I don't see that as being developed in any special "skunk works".
