Has anyone found a way to communicate with Tesla about the need for a new service location?

You can put in text or narrative only if you give a low rating to service. So I am supposed to punish service for no fault of theirs?
Why are you being so difficult and insistant that you can't provide feedback on a form designed to provide feedback? I just talked to a service advisor about this three weeks ago and they advised that the first part of the Survey reflects on the local Service Team, but that there was a place at the end of the Survey to add comments that do not reflect on the local team.

Just type your comments in that field at the end asking if you have any other feedback. It ain't rocket science!

Absolutely agree that there are many places with even more difficult access to service (hence my mentioning this in the OP). They too might like a channel to make an appeal for a new location.

As for convincing more people in the area to buy Teslas, that's a great idea. It would nifty if there was transparency regarding how Tesla was making this decision and what the current stats were. Then I would know if I need to get five more people to purchase a vehicle or 50,000 more.

Interestingly, there *is* a way to appeal for a new tesla charging location, but as far as I can tell, nothing similar for service locations.
I don't think that there is a company in the world that is transparent on where they open store locations.

Looking at a number that suggests that there are just over 200 Service Centers in the US and taking a slightly educated guess of about 2 million Teslas in the US, suggests that there's a Service center for about every 10,000 vehicles.

I'm sure that Tesla allocates Service Centers based on vehicle density.

Want to be heard, convince more people in the area to buy Teslas.

It does not appear that Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, Arkansas, New Hampshire, Kansas, nor Alabama have ANY Service Centers.

Oregon has four.
Agreed..... you need a certain quantity to justify having a building and staff with those costs.

Yes.

Also remember that Medford is closer to everywhere along the Sixes and down through Siskiyou County down to Weed where it's a toss-up which is closer.

I live smack dab in the middle of the west coast Tesla service dead zone (i.e. southern oregon). I had a Tesla service appointment for tomorrow in Bend, but the winter weather has changed such that chains are now required (I've been waiting for chains to be available on Tesla website, and yes, I know we could get them elsewhere). Even if I had chains, it is a long drive there and things could be bad enough that getting back could be worse.

The Chico location to the south has a similar issue in that the weather can become quite bad at the Oregon/California border.

Take a look at the service map below showing I'm in the service dark zone.

Sure, plenty of other people are in similar situations all over the country, but I'm just looking for a way to appeal to Tesla to consider a location somewhere in Southern Oregon that doesn't require driving through pretty severe
