I may not be able to buy a Cybertruck unless something changes. Anyone else?

Very nice display of the ongoing Federal Reserve 'speak', which is effectively a lie being perpetuated on the public since December 23rd 1913.
The case of not being able to see a forest because the trees are in the way.
There is a much bigger picture to study.
Ask yourself about the value of the USD over the past 110 years?
The current system trains you not to ask these questions, effectively perpetuating a system of slavery.
You might notice how the current monetary system is in a meltdown all around the world.
South Africa just officially sanctioned BTC as legal tender.
BTC adoption buy the public is truly in it's infancy right now, but growing fairly quickly with some hic-ups.

Why do people still think their order number is a place in line to get a truck?
I guess we’ve always assumed that. Is there evidence to the contrary?

I’m hung up on your use of the word “still”. Are you implying something happened that should have changed our outlook in it.

For example, did you mean “Why do people still think ‘Y’ after we all know that Elon said ’Z’”?

Or did you mean it more like: “After all these years I can’t believe people still believe ‘X’”

Programming is not social.

Twitter is social.

The same reason why the Administrator here needs to be near anonymous and iron-fisted is the same reason why Elon is having so much trouble.

-Crissa
programming isn't social but it's the cure for what ails Twitter. Bots won't be fixed by ignoring them or by adding emojis.

We’re likely 7 months from first customer deliveries, and 12-36 months before most of us get our trucks. Most recessions last 9-18 months and we’re already deep in this one.
Shhhh, if Jerome Powell reads that, he'll start cranking up interest rates even more.

I have you beat. Sold mine for about $300.
Oh well.
I think mine is higher on the suck-meter. My son (who passed in January) had 100 bit coins many years ago that he acquired through various trades. He sold them...for about $100.

Buying some BTC now might be a good idea. Will likely be 100k by the march 2024 halving.
Hashrate and difficulty indicators are stronger than ever.
Oh boy......

Please don't recommend to anyone buying BTC.

I own BTC, and I'm one of the lucky few that got in when it was under $1k. I follow crypto as closely as I follow my TSLA. Not that anyone asked me, but cyrpto is little more than betting on sports or heading to the casino.

IMO, we are decades away from crypto amounting to anything, if it ever does. There are so many forces working against crypto that it may just never amount to what anyone hoped.

Hold your TSLA. Finance your CT when your number is called. The TSLA will be worth more than the CT in 10 years.

Again, no one asked, I'm not offering advice, just my opinion. Back to drinking my coffee and lurking in the shadows.

Everyday the stock gets compressed and PE gets to the ridiculous level it is at I wake up smiling and go scrape up some more quarters, dollars or what ever I can find and buy more TSLA.

What a gift we are being given right now. If you believe in the fundamentals Warren Buffett will advise to buy when everyone else is running away.

Oh, and please don't sell your stock to buy the truck. The value of that stock will bring you much wealth over the next ten years.

My plan has always been to sell stock if necessary to make a big enough down payment to make the monthly payment tolerable.
I accidently got a job so maybe I won't have to sell any stock by the time they build mine (prob late 2024).

While ya enjoy your coffee buzz, consider that Bitcoin is represented by the world's largest, most powerful, decentralized computer network. Slightly different animal than some frilly gaming casino.
Many people like yourself did buy in at $1000 and cheaper, never understanding the fundamentals.
One of my buddies like you had 1.5 BTC bought cheap on a lark, sold it when the price first hit 20k and bought a shinning new Lexus. Today he has zero BTC and a worn out, needs tyres/brakes/oil change, dusty, POS that requires petrol just to go to the car wash.
Oh boy....
What good advice he got!
