Can it be a bug if it's intentional? I say yes, because it bugs me! I'm talking about the FSD disengage survey that appears every time you disengage and then persists forever. It is so anti-zen, it's baffling. a 30-second timeout seems reasonable. I like participating when it makes sense. Most of the time it's just a preference disengage and I don't even remember the pop-up until it's in my way, and by then I forget why I disengaged. Insult to injury, you can't even swipe the thing down and out of the way, like the rest of the UI so your motor memory is worthless. Try to see what song is playing while the dog is in the backseat with the seat belt warning and the disengage survey is in the way, good luck!

Tesla if you are reading this seriously get it together! Sure at this point you have a bunch of unreliable data, and it's what you think you know that ain't so.

The workaround is to just double tap the microphone button quickly as soon as you disengage. It dismisses the screen without choosing an option.

Yes it’s very annoying… I know “preference” covers a lot but as someone who always disengages at destination because I like to park in specific spots, including my own house, I have to deal with this twice every outing for no reason. At a minimum it should disappear when you’re within say 100 yards of you’re gps destination

In 14.3.3 there's an option for Parking.

This isn't going away anytime soon.

You can also tap the microphone button once and say why you disengaged and maybe help build a better FSD product. It just takes a second.

Answer truthfully:

Do you want FSD to improve beyond its current status?

Tesla already had a method to provide feedback with the microphone, been using it for years to provide meaningful feedback when it was necessary. End of story.

This new "requirement" is just annoying. The majority of the time I disengage because it's convienent (like pulling into my garage) or I don't feel like it's an FSD issue.

I can live with the newer, smaller pop-up, IF it disappeared in 5-10 secs but leaving it on the screen and in the way it absurd. Usually I hit Critical or double tap the microphone to get it off the screen. Hopefully they analyze the "Criticals" and realize the bad data they are getting. The engineer that came up with this stupid idea should be fired by Musk directly.

If FSD owners want to "improve beyond it's current status", use the previous method to provide precise data via the microphone on what went wrong, not pigenhole an answer into an anoying popup.

File w/the NHTSA. It needs to be OPT-IN. I hit the mic and tell it 'piss off'.

I don't pay $100/month to be forced to answer popups more obnoxious than naked lady websites!

You would seriously file a safety complaint against Tesla for a pop-up box that asks your opinion on why you disengaged an optional safety product in your vehicle?

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

this whole planet is patently absurd.

100%. Nothing else will get their attention.
You cannot force a popup onto users. This is bad taste at best and dangerous at worst. I didn't buy a $100k car and pay monthly for this. It's a very non-Tesla design and unlike them. They've lost their roots.

Just make it 'opt-in' and everyone will be happy. Very simple fix.

Interestingly I end up hitting critical as well... as am I am critical of this method of harvesting my info. I was hoping also that enough others would do this and it would go away. I too feel like I used to do a very good job of orally making FSD issues known.
