Did you notice that the lying hackjob didn't try to actually provide a refutation, he just wanted to disparage me lmao.That kind of personal attack is completely uncalled for. While I disagree with @REM on the danger of those little inside door handles (I figure people should be responsible for their own actions), he almost always gives accurate solid advice and info. More so than the typical stuff I see on forums for sure.
My views on those handles might be biased by the fact that I got my hand caught in the door of the families 1964 Rambler station wagon when I was only 5 years old. Hurt like hell, 100 percent my fault. The wagon had standard door handles, I just fucked up. I never got my hand caught in a door again. Live and learn. By 2050 or 2060, all car doors will be slow close, they will be impossible to slam. But humans will just become more complacent, figuring the world is 100% safe and they don't need to take responsibility for their actions and find new dumb ways to injure themselves. Of course it will never be their own fault.
