My Cybertruck pop-up roof tent design

For camping, I designed a pop-up roof plan on a cybertruck.
Because there is no need to incision the roof of the vehicle to install the pop-up roof,
it is structurally safe and saves time and cost in installing the pop-up roof.
When the popup loop is closed,
It is possible to park in the underground parking lot with a height limit of 2.1m,
and 2 people can sleep in a bed.
If you open the pop-up loop at the campsite,
2 people can sleep in the bed (lower bed) and 2 people in the roof bed (upper bed).
Therefore, a total of 4 people(family) can sleep.
The height of the person icon in the drawing is 175cm.

Why not just use the camper that Tesla presented in the unveiling? It doesn't go as high as this one but it certainly seemed like it would do the job.

I believe Diehard is referring to a gate between the truck bed and the cabin. Based on the drawing, the sleeping people appear to have their legs in the back seat area.

I am wondering (and this is not just about your design) if any canopy will work on the CT? there does not seem to be any place you can attach it. I dont think clamps would work as you could potentially bend the track the rolling vault cover goes into.

Awesome. The only addition I would want is when stationary and set, 6 additional panels can extend from under the other panels seen. This would create deployable "wings", doubling your wattage, if you choose.

Remember, 600 watts doesn't mean 600 watts actual. And, the wings could serve as canopies. So, full width when deployed would be 2696. But, should allow for partial deployment too, when space isn't available.

Another option could be a full 270 degree canopy with solar built-in. Installed on one side of the solar roof, and deployed like a batwing, but with solar charging your CT. I prefer this as it would provide a true canopy from the rear door on one side, around to and including the back of the truck. peace

Theoretically, any sort of camper top could lock Into (what appear to be) the six roof rack mounts presently on the prototype.

This has been covered, there are mount points on the Cybertruck prototype like the ones on the Model Y - under those are most likely screw down hard points.

You use the L tracks. That is what they are there for.

Ahh yep, totally get it now. Truly hope we do have the ability to drop the rear seats forward and open up the whole truck to the vault, idk how it would work with the rolling tonneau cover mechanism in there but I'm sure if they want to figure it out they will.
