Can the Cyber Truck navigate to and auto park in an assigned parking spot at work without me having to take control of auto pilot or activation auto park?

If positional accuracy were sufficient, you'd think it would be easy to set a specific parking spot. But I think that cellular+GPS etc is borderline on that, although it's better than some years ago. And AFAIK, recognition of markings or signs for a parking spot name or number is zero. Recognition of any pavement markings other than lane markings (if not severely faded), stop bars at an intersection, and sometimes arrows is not great, and of signs other than speed limit, stop, yield, and hopefully wrong-way seems either not attempted or inconsistent; even those can be incorrect with day/night or different per-lane speed limits. And AFAIK no-right-on-red signs are not detected. Don't know if it knows about DC being entirely no-right-on-red by default.

Still, if you could set a specific location within a parking lot, it should be able to get you plus or minus a couple of slots, hopefully in the correct row. In which case, if yours was the only one open, it should be obvious. Although if you're advisably early, it might not be the only one open. :)

I don't think that scenario will ever be a major priority. Might be added. Just not sure how realistic it is for the majority of people to be able to count on having the same spot consistently. Not enough to warrant an entire feature imo.

I think the long term functionality they are looking at is reverse summon so we don't have to care about where the car is parked. I could see them implementing it for personal garages and positions in the driveway.

I'll be really impressed when it can back into my driveway and garage.

I would like to be able to input waypoints - I have an alley in the back of the house where I access my driveway/garage. It does not want to go to the alley and I cannot place a pin there. Yet it does recognize that it is navigable and can navigate out of my driveway onto the alley and onto the main road.
When I go to my buddy's house, it chooses to drive into the alley instead to the front of his house on the main road. Not sure what gives

Does anyone know if I paint a parking space on my driveway that CT will recognize it and allow me to select it then start Park?
Any advice gratefully accepted. Paul
