Just had a new Cybertent install, I knew the updated Cybertent had a few upgrades but I thought I’d list the changes from YouTube vids I’ve seen.
— tonneau appliqué assembled with fishhook clips to easily remove and replace. No tools necessary. Just pull up then release front clips with finger. Just snaps back into place when finished.
—red clips are fully attached to tent and do not remain on truck when stored. You unbutton them.
-there is no zipper on tent cover when storing, it just pulls over very easily and snaps with metal clips on front.
—looks like a redesign on cantrail clips as well.
overall this setup seems easier to install and take down from the YouTube vids I’ve seen. The only issue I had was the step to put into tent mode after you remove the tonneau appliqué. If you do it at that step the truck raises the tonneau a bit and makes it impossible to fold tent out. I waited til I got tent folded out then placed in tent mode.
