Welcome, I think the Cybertruck is a different take in premium. Instead of perceivable luxury like in normal car manufacturers (ie. extra soft leather lined in wool stitching, 100 way power and message seats, 90" screens). Tesla is about implementing sophisticated cutting-edge technology, which is not perceivable but experienced. FSD is next level, no one else comes close. Next are Chinese EVs. Rivian is not close to that level.

Tesla can and has leveraged SpaceX and X.AI tech into Teslas vehicles.

It is interesting times where traditional luxury brands that used to be the highest tech like Mercedes, BMW, and even Rolls Royce are far behind Tesla.

I have read that the Cadillac super cruise is very good.

It's not the same thing at all. Super Cruise will allow you to go hands free on mapped highways, and will negotiate lane changes for you. That's it.

It is not tied to navigation. It will not take an exit. It will not handle an intersection. No 4 way stops, no stop lights, no merging on and off. It will disengage for roundabouts. It will not work on unmapped roads. They will brag about the billions of miles or whatever that ARE mapped, but on every drive you will encounter roads that aren't. Even if they all are mapped on your drive, it will not turn from one mapped road onto another mapped road. It will not turn at all. It will not park. It will not engage until you're up to speed. It just isn't anything like FSD.


I get in my Cybertruck, it knows I want to go to work, it backs out of my garage, drives me to work while dealing with any possible scenarios along the way, and parks in my designated area without me doing one single thing other than pressing "start FSD."
