A suggestion on that center bumper skid plate piece. Put holes in it so there is extra air flow for the radiator tucked up in there.
This would help with the reduced airflow of the bumper face itself.

** On topic those look nice. How much rock abuse can they take as they are aluminum?

Looks great! Great work T-sportline team!

I have a couple of questions:
  1. Why the choice of powercoated steel? Just a question out of curiosity. Aluminum is lighter, cheaper, doesn't need to be recoated/painted for every scratch, and while it isn't as strong it's plenty strong enough as a protective layer--unless you're regularly trying to push things with your bumper. I suppose aluminum is harder to work with...
  2. What's your relationship with EV Sportline? They appear to be affiliated but I just want to make sure there aren't shenanigans going on, a lot of that recently.
  3. Does the front bumper come with the full underbody section (the black steel in the image)?
Thanks again!

All the black bumper is steel. You can get the bumper as pictured.
The off white light colored section is all aluminum.

Not affiliated with the products just have been asking questions on them as well.

Yes, I understand. The black (steel) is what I am asking about in #3.

I'll be more interested when there are 48v winches available. :)

1 - Strength. This bumper is a legit functional component; Steel is the right choice to serve jack points, winch mounts, and bumper protection. Aluminum would be fine for a cosmetic part, but not the best option this time.

2 - T Sportline and EV Sportline are the same company - two different divisions, but the same engineers behind it all. T Sportline is 100% Tesla focused. EV Sportline is all other EVs, such as Rivian.
3 - yes, includes all the black parts / covers. It replaces those factory plastic panels with these.

How are you handling the aluminum-to-steel connection in order to prevent galvanic corrosion?

The limitation is the 400w, not the 48v. A 12,000lb winch draws 20x+ the power of 400w. The 48 / 400w aux circuit is never going run a winch....which is why we had to make our own CTX power system.

Not only is any steel that these touch coated, but the skid is also coated: Zink coated aluminum + AkzoNobel powder coating.

BTW, the Cyber is a solid mix of aluminum, steel, and stainless - ha ha.
