New "trailer profile" for each trailer in latest software update

This is something I've been looking forward to since launch. I wonder if fsd will one day account for a trailer and actually work with a trailer?

Why would you want to do that?

All wheel steering is better for towing in all regards. The initial adjustment to the difference is needed but after you've got it it's good.

I've towed a lot and it's a game changer. Especially in tight spaces.

I'll probably tow something Tuesday. I'll play with it and see what it allows. I'm assuming it won't since they haven't accomplished unsupervised driving yet but who knows.. I've been a Tesla owner for 7 years and nothing surprises me in that regard anymore. ?

Also it doesn't require you to be in tow mode to see those options.

Why would you want to do that?

Agreed: At higher speeds, having the ability for all 4 wheels to steer in the same direction will help the truck glide between lanes and really reduce (if not eliminate) trailer sway as a result.

Interesting...I never thought about how it might reduce trailer sway at high speeds.

Where do you get one of those (and why would you want that)?

Even if you had a trailer without backup lights, why would you care if it caused a "red trailer icon" to display?
