So am aware of the Cybertruck huuuuge windscreen and it's a pain to tint, I have test driven several CT's in the past year and recently I drove a 90k VIN Production 1/2026 and it has a purplish tint in all of the windshield, kind like S & X have... Don't remember seeing it before on other Cybers.

Do all 2024+ have them or just this new one, not looking forward to tinting the windshield because I know it will not come out great, but its a necessity in Texas heat.

BTW, this is a Demo Cybertruck from Tesla and I checked no tint added at all...

Here are some pics, maybe am imagining things...

Different glass company, but I don't think either have IRR layer. There's usually an indication of IRR on the label if it's present.

It has some sort of UV film inside it I believe. When my is wet it actually has a reddish color to it. I also got mine tinited with 70% nana ceramic tint. It works well, the 70% is essentially clear. I got it done at a shop here in Houston for $330

I am in Houston, care to share the shop?

Any imperfections or weird viewing angles?

Does yours have a purplish tint if you look at it outside?

Tint my ride is the shop. They are on hwy 6 south of I-10. Over all mine looks good. There is a very small run in mine at the bottom, probably about 3/8 of an inch. Can’t see it from the inside and it’s not really noticeable from the outside too, I’d probably have to point it out to you to see it. If it ends up getting bigger I’ll take it back for warranty. But as is now I’m pretty happy with the tint. I got a quote from another shop and it was 600 so this was a great price considering the size of this windshield. Here is the site..

Yes it cools off quicker and the air conditioner doesn’t have to run full blast once it’s cooled off to maintain the temp. Get the air nano ceramic tint. If you don’t have the side windows done, get those in air nano as well. They have a little heat lamp test that you can feel the difference in air nano vs nano vs carbon. The air is definitely the best

For my 2024 the top visor portion was normal windshield. For my 2025 the top visor portion has the reddish tint that helps with the sun glare.

getting as much IR/UV blocking is one of the biggest things you can do to save energy in this thing. I believe only the roof has it (at least thats why my tint shop here in philly said -
so thats why they didnt do the roof - saved me a chunk of change which I appreciated!)

Agreed, these things are a SOLAR OVEN if you don't have good ceramic tinting on all glass (except the back window to nowhere)
