Non foundation VIN to delivery timeframe?

No. I assumed that from Austin to Lynnwood would be only by semi car trailer (not rail). And since the originally thought 10/22; but notified me today that it's now arriving next weekend, it's to be loaded onto a car carrier tomorrow morning. That's a lot of assumptions on my part. It's 2,150 miles from Austin, TX to Lynnwood, WA. Drive time is about 33 hours; which is just over four 8-hr days.

I was also told by the , that mine was still n Austin as of 2 weeks ago. I am awaiting a response from the SM team today.

Ok just got my text last Saturday 10/19 to pick a delivery date. It gave me Saturday the 26th with 4 time slots. A little faster than I thought. But super stoked!

I completed my order and tasks on October 16th, since then I’ve been placed on a hold for a VIN number. I did have an app glitch occur prior to this where it would not allow me to progress past the uploading the drivers license and SSN.

Anyone else experiencing a wait / delay in a VIN being assigned? Or is this another glitch and Tesla needs to be called?

FWIW, I’m doing the purchase in the state of NJ.

My SC, reconfirmed mine is still sitting in Austin too. ??. I guess I've waited 4 years, 11 months, so what's couple more weeks right? ?

Same here, ordered on 16 Oct and have not received VIN yet. I found the app to be super glitchy while uploading registration, trade info, etc.

Ah yes same! Maybe it’s worth it to just give Tesla a shout to see if the app is still glitching.

I've messaged them a couple times via the app and the response was "you are in the queue to be matched to a Cybertruck and will receive a notification from the Tesla app once you have received a VIN."

Earlier in the chat they said "we do not have clear ETAs at this time"

Completed all pre delivery tasks and no estimated date I did message them and they told me 10/23 but still nothing as of today. Tomorrow I’m going for a demo drive hopefully I can get a more concrete delivery window, hell hopefully my truck is already there LOL. Located in the Jacksonville, Fl area.

I ordered 10/4. Still no VIN. Day one res. I am financing, and will be considering a trade in offer, whenever I receive one. They are holding out until a VIN gets assigned apparently.

Decided to login to Tesla.com on 10/08 and clicked on “configure your Cybertruck” like I had been doing everyday for the past month lol. For my surprise it allowed me to configure a NON FS, which I did. Paid the $250 and got a VIN assigned less than 30 minutes later. Completed all steps in the app including financing. Truck was at the factory schedule to arrive on 10/20 after having been delayed due to hurricane Milton. Located in Miami, FL.

Wow, that is promising, I got a VIN on 10/19 after configuring a non-foundation on 10/18 from a reservation that I put in on 7/19/2020. I’m in Davie waiting for the CB!
I have seen so many of them down here now it’s crazy and awesome. My kids see about six of them at school daily.

Oddly enough, I did get a trade-in offer. I had the impression they wouldn't do those 'til a VIN was assigned. Go figure ...

All trucks coming to FL go from Austin to Jacksonville via rail and then on a semi down south. I just got a delivery date scheduled today so it’ll end up being almost 3 weeks from VIN to delivery…

I hope so! We are moving into our new home in a month so I was really hoping to be put the truck bed to use for the move. CT seems way way more useful than my wife’s Honda Pilot which is being traded in!
