two questions for those who have already gotten their truck.

1. can you pay with certified check or cashiers check when you pick up? i’d really like to inspect before taking the car

2. do you have to put the payment option in before they schedule a delivery date? (related to question number 1)

I had my payment type (cash, loan, lease) picked before being assigned a delivery date. I chose cash. I’m not sure if this impacted my delivery date or not. However, what I think you are really asking is if I put in my payment details (plaid, cashier’s check, etc) before receiving a date or not.

I got my delivery date before entering any payment details. The day before my delivery I signed up to pay using Plaid (direct withdrawal from bank account). I did not actually make the payment until after I had seen my truck and agreed to take delivery. Once that happened, I authorized the Plaid payment through the Tesla app and it took maybe 10 seconds. They are very efficient when it comes to taking money. The bottom line is that waiting to pay until after seeing the truck did not slow down my process at all. Good luck!

Navy told to take their check. Only give when I had key in hand was satisfied with it. They they had a few balls because of conditions. Damaged body.
