Switched to K03 tires on my FS AWD and while I enjoyed them at first and they were awesome in snow, the noise became unbearable and the range hit was real.

Went from 380 wh/mile over the first 29k miles on stock ATs to 460 wh/mile on the K03 over the following 6,100 miles. Ouch, a 20% range penalty is just too much for m

Anyway, I traded in my FS AWD on May 1 for a 2026 AWD with Pirellis and I really like them. Smooth and super quiet, range is improved too (360 wh/mile over last 2,200 miles). But it’s really the silence that I enjoy - basically no noise at all.

good luck, and as always, YMMV

I have KO3's, will be a year in September, I put 12k miles on it and still looks great and still lots of tread life, I should easily get 3 years out of at least, those OEM ATR's were no good at all.

Just an update - my lifetime efficiency on the Pirelli A/S tires, over about 2500 miles, was 402 Wh/mi. This included a long road trip, including mountain passes, with speed limits up to 80 mph on the trip, >90% FSD standard.

I've had the KO3's on for a bit over 450 miles now, and their efficiency over that time has been 392 Wh/mi. Most of this travel has been with speed limits 65-75, so it's not quite apples to apples, but it does include multiple mountain passes (as with the other tires), and also 10's of miles on forest roads. >90% FSD standard on pavement, 0% FSD on dirt/forest roads.

I don't have an exact like-for-like comparison in routes, but at least in my normal use I'm not seeing a dramatic difference in efficiency yet.
