i wish i was. Since then I’ve driven it 3k miles with probably 200 miles offroading and no new big chunks yet. These tires are soft as baby’s shit. But was surprised that it performed well off road and snow.

have you ever filed a complain regarding tires before? How do you start the process?
Class action lawsuit already

My model x tires have done that since 2016, it’s the way the suspension is built.
if you bought one and didn’t know that , you didn’t do your homework.

16,000 miles is all I got out of my 21 inch 2023 S Plaid tires, but then, that's around what you usually get from any high horsepower car with performance tires on it, so I'm not complaining.

mine started chunking at 100 miles.
My oem pirellis had 3 rock punctures in about 100 miles of caliche driving, 8500 miles total. I put nitto recon grapplers on this weekend. I would have preferred Terra grappler g3s because they look like a nice street driving all terrain. The recon grapplers were the least aggressive I could get with my buddy’s at-cost pricing. The recon grapplers definitely have a slight hum going down the road but it’s not terrible. I’m expecting about a 10% range hit. I’ll know more about the range hit over the next week.

It will be hard to go from the Scorpion ATR Core tires to true All-terrain again, but im really hoping these somehow are smoother and quieter than at least the Cyberwheels/tire AT setup. Looking forward to those tests.

Interesting update, apparently a Rivian R1S user was experiencing consistent hydroplaning with the XTM on highways. I hope this is corrected.

Got the K03s put on recently. I didn't realize Tesla service had rules against installing non-tesla tires, so I had to have 3rd party install K03s They're great, almost hard to lose traction in the snow. I've had K02s on my previous vehicles and never had issues so figured I'd stick with them. The wheel covers fit, but surprisingly I like the look without wheel covers for these tires even though I loved wheel covers on stock tires.

Noise different is not noticeable to me. No idea on range but seems fine

Were you coming from Goodyear AT tires? Id be curious if your watts per mile changes significantly.

Funny. I literally just put KO3s on today. The stock tires were still “ok” but I’m heading up to Vermont and the deep stuff. I got 21,000 miles on the stock. They were great in the snow last year, but can’t risk slippage, and from my experience in the 8” we got the other day, no bueno. So far ride and handling seem more planted. Road noise is only noticeable if it’s quiet in the cabin, and not by much. I think they actually look better than stock IMO.
