9/11 delivery, 2500 credits in the wallet. Note someone posted what you buy will also be tax free, consider that in your purchase
Why would you listen to what "someone posted" when it clearly violates sales tax laws in most states? Sales tax is always due for retail sales in states that require the collection of sales tax of companies doing business in those states.

I used my $2500 voucher to buy a new set of winter tires and wheels from the Tesla store. Super stoked that they are ready to be picked up or installed (the price included free mounting balancing).

I'm surprised how some people try to turn this into a negative! Normally, I wouldn't expect any "deal" with the purchase of a new vehicle in such high demand.

I got my CT on May 5th, I was originally going with the install route but after much frustration of them trying to figure out my power usage I decided to just take the $2500 and move on. It then took another 2 months and many emails to get my "credit".

I received it yesterday, it's a 1 time code usage.
Who did you email? I have been calling but can’t find an email to send my request to. Calling the local service center or Tesla main phone number has been useless. Nobody know how to get me the $2500 dollar voucher. Thank you for any information.

well I wasn’t there when the someone from this purchased what ever they got, simply relaying what I have read here on this forum. But it’s defin Something to be mindful when making the purchase regardless of there authenticity. Can get a few more shirts or whatever if it’s true and for those OG folk that have use it or loose it, it makes sense to validate. Rumor is the tax was included in the vehicle purchase so it’s already been paid which also makes sense.

Honestly, I made a support request ? it was the only way I could get someone to call me ? let me see if the guy I used can be of help.

How were you able to make a support request? Last time I spoke to tesla they were to have the Cybertruck team reach out to me and it never happened. Thank you again.

I just made an order using the $2500 Tesla credit. I ordered a spare tire and tool kit, a rear under-seat cargo bin, a universal wall connector, a set of vault storage bins, and a j1772 adapter storage dock.
The total with tax (the shipping was free) came to $2482.38 I didn't want to waste much money if it was a one time voucher. After the order my Tesla credit balance is $17.62. For me at least I have a balance left over so I did not lose anything,

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Your mileage may vary.

Just a note on the spare tire kit. I have to pick it up at the service center. They won't ship it. That's OK with me.

I took delivery of my AWD on 9/19/24 and ihave $2,500 credits in my shop account. My email doesn't state one time use and I tried for says to call Tesla but finally texted the number that setup my order. Their reply was “ The voucher is a one time use.” I'm not using it until the spare tire is in stock. Lol

They obviously keep calling it a one time use voucher to keep from having to acknowledge all of us early order customers who are calling for it to be converted to shop credits like you have.

It's definitely not a one time voucher. I bought the Vault cargo divider a month ago, and I can still see the remaining balance. However, it says "any unused balance remaining after 1 year on 31 August 2025 will be forfeited."

Powerwall vs $2500 voucher? I see that you can still purchase the powerwall even if you use some of the credits (just checked my account). I am contemplating on purchasing the powerwall using the remaining credits. I just learned that the powerwall have a few advantages. In areas with time-of-use electricity rates, the Powerwall can store energy during off-peak hours (when electricity is cheaper) and discharge it during peak hours, lowering your electricity costs. I wasn't aware of this until now.
Although I don't need a backup power since I already have a generator, the powerwall provides backup power during outages for those who doesn't have any generators.

Late Foundation Series Beast purchase (delivered Oct 2nd, a few weeks before Foundation was discontinued). Got the option to choose Powerwall or $2,500 credit almost immediately after delivery and chose the $2,500 credit. I was nervous about it being one-time use, but from reading this thread and others, had a feeling mine was not one-time (it showed up in my Wallet as $2,500 Tesla credits).

Sure enough, placed my first order today (Wall Connector + some apparel / accessories) for ~$710, and my account now shows the balance, ~$1,790 of credits still available. Phew!

I don't see an expiration date anywhere though, but will be sure to use it up before Oct-25. The consensus does seem to be that the credits expire after one year.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts/experience, I found the posts very helpful.
