Wanted to ask everybody here… Waiting for my cyber beast on order since April with estimated delivery of October… Just got an email asking whether I would be interested in power share or a $2500 credit from Tesla. I have full solar and 3 Powerwall 2s for my house and not really sure if I would ever use power share. The question is…is it worth having the option of power share or just go with the credit?

I’m so confused and would love anybody’s opinion or some guidance. Thanks in advance.

You already have Powerwalls so you only need a Wall Connector to use Powershare. (Well, that and the software update they haven't released yet).
So you'll with the store credit.

I would have them do the assessment - my understanding is that it depends on the version of your Powerwall for the Powershare to seemlessly connect. We just finished the full Powershare install. Was pretty simply given we had Tesla solar and inverter (but no batteries) already.

Thanks for the responses…. I figured that I most likely don’t need any equipment installed for power share but I’m worried if I take the survey and say yes that they will say you are eligible for power share and don’t require any equipment and I would forgo the $2500 store credit. Would it be better to just request the credit?

That shouldn't happen. If your house is found to be ineligible, you still get the $2,500 credit. (If the new teems appy to your order).
