That's changed since the reveal. The pre-order page has since been revised to say that tri-motor will be first to be produced (starting late 2021).

after posting looked into it, and saw same as @Cyber_Dav mentioned above: they shifted single motor shifted back (reports say bc fewest ordered) with the dual still coming as originally signaled and the tri pushed forward

either way, I expect everything will keep changing (and delays)

If you look at the Buddy's reservation number of RN 112778622 and then subtract it from RN 113193076 one can infer that the Cybertruck may have preorders fast approaching 500K. That is really cool.

Production capacity in California is going to increase as more of the giga factory in China is brought to full capacity. This means production out of California can focus on the domestic market rather than the global market. Hopefully, the new factory in Germany is able to start production as quickly as China. Having two overseas production facilities is good news for everyone who aspires to own a piece of the future of mobility. Perhaps they will expand the giga factory in Nevada? Who knows. I am very excited to be an early adopter of transportation electrification in the truck market.

I ordered a couple, just in case the configuration i want is not produced when i want it. Tri-motor is 112749838 and Dual-motor is 112758509. I am having a difficult time waiting...just like it was for the 1.5 years I waited for my 3.
