With all of the speculation regarding an Austin site for the TeraFactory and recent news of Travis County putting together an incentives package, this article was posted this morning and reveals the potential Travis County site location.

Exactly! It's a large site, but looks like a TON of work to develop. So if timelines are a factor, which Elon has said they are, this one kind of doesn't make sense. So until we hear something official from Tesla, which probably won't be until they actually announce the location, this could just be just another instance of local officials taking their swing.

Yep, looks like that's the official letter from Tesla we were waiting for. Let's see how fast they can develop this site, IF everything is approved! Nothing official but they have reached out for incentives so they most definitely are eyeing this property.

The plot thickens! What are the odds they have options on this AND the Hutto site and just weighing incentives, etc. between the two? This would be a perfect time for the Hutto school board to jump in with a "hold my beer" tweet or sort of announcement.

Since I now live near Oklahoma City, I’d love to see the factory in Oklahoma. But I agree, I think it’s Texas.

Although I’ll still look to pick up my cybertruck at either location. With hopefully a factory tour.
