They said I'd get an email and follow directions - so just wait? vs. scan QR code on Gateway and / or connect charger to wifi and / or enable on truck?

I'm not the patient type, lol....

Thoughts from those that have been there before?

I dont recall getting an email, and just now I searched and couldnt find one. I did however get a prompt on the Tesla phone app when it was ready to use. It had a small tutorial and some settings.

It took around 2 weeks. It might be longer now with their backlog of servicing issues from the hurricanes.

My Company - Mac Electric was awesome - top notch job! In my case the AC unit is just under the limit and my house service is 200amps - so they just did the gateway back to back with the main circuit and ran conduit to charger location...whole house backup - pretty straightforward. They used my existing conduit from my previous charger to run a 14-50 line - so very minimal out of pocket cost for the additional work! Seems simple and straightforward - still took 6 hours but they did good!

Ok, only took 5 days and I think I'm all set.

Truck Controls->Charging-> Turn on Power Share
App->Controls PowerShare Home Backup = on and Discharge Limit set to 20%
App->shows little bi directional signal next to battery %

So guessing im good to go. Will go shutoff main 200amp breaker and see how she does!

I’m here in Cheyenne and had Mac Electric for my install too. Took about the same 6 hours. I was told they would notify Tesla the install was complete at the end of the day but it would take up to 2 months for power share to kick in.

Got an app notification the next morning everything was up and running including the tutorial.

My installer requested my WiFi details and setup everything. It took a few days to be fully commissioned.
