If the credit shows up on the web site you shouldn't need the email code. The code loads the $2,500 onto your account.
I was also able to see that it shows I have until 05-2026 to use the credit. That would be like 2 years from purchase. If you click on the pay moment options it show the expiration date.

@Tanquen, I wouldn't rush and buy something just to get 50 to 75 cents on the dollar reselling it. I was in the same boat as you (although I already had Solar and Powerwalls) and thought what would I do with that Tesla Credit? Needless to say, in less than a year, it's all gone...

$4K powershare installation credit on a Foundation series Cyberbeast was only good if you took delivery of your CT before May 2024. Sorry if someone already mentioned it.

That's false, I argued with Tesla when I took delivery on October 2024 during delivery and showed me in writing that delivery had to be May 2024 or before and denied the $4k installation credit.

What is this writing off which you speak? The Order page had installation credit called out until at least May 19. As does their Powershare page I linked to.

They came out with a stack of papers showing me, I kept arguing with them that was the only reason why opted for the Cyberbeast instead of the dual motor. They said sorry you needed to accept delivery on May 2024 or before to qualify for it.

Well, they are wrong. I'm curious how this came up as a topic at delivery. My installer handled all the credit stuff.
When you ordered, did you get an email from Tesla titled "Power your home with your Cybertruck"? Or any Powershare e-mails after ordering?

Install Powershare Home Backup

Powershare Home Backup allows you to power your home with the energy stored in your Cybertruck’s battery pack, helping keep the lights on for up to three days when outages occur.*

Your order is eligible for free Powershare Home Backup hardware and an installation allowance of $4,000.** Take our survey to confirm your interest and we will reach out to you with more information.

*Based on an average daily home energy usage of 30 kWh per day.
**Eligibility based on installation feasibility at your home.

No, but I did have their certified installer in my area, Qmerit, they did verify that I did not qualify for the $4k install credit. The calmed down and they said since I have Powerwall 3s and solar that I just have to wait for the software update for the PW3s for the CT to work like powershare system.

Oh, if you have PW, then the credit wasn't applicable anyway (unless doing a weird stacked system... though it seems like one could get the UWC installed)

There's just nothing in the shop that I want. It looks like I could get the charger and they also showed that you could buy a gateway and charger combo (Tesla Powershare Home Backup Bundle $2,500) but I don't need those for a solar install. I could ask the Tesla project manager if I can purchase my own charger and get it rolled into the project somehow. It just seemed silly that they won't let you roll that into a solar with batteries and Powershare purchase.

Those are expensive options but they're just not something I would ever buy. It came with the all weather floor mats and that's kind of the extent of my accessory buying for new vehicles.
The only maybe, would be the wrap. I just don't like the idea of how expensive it is to wrap one of the easiest vehicles to wrap. Then there's the fact that it only lasts a couple of years if you take really good care of it? I do very little driving but I also worry about fit and finish of the install. I've seen some photos where the edges look pretty bad.
