There is no separate power cutoff for the solar nor does the Gateway control the solar.Understood, I believe consistent with my comment - the existing power cutoff, whatever that is, for the existing solar, would need to be eliminated, with the Gateway 3 taking over that job - so it isn't just adding Gateway to make it happen, requires reconfiguration? What's missing in that diagram is the current grid switch that turns off solar when the grid is down. I may have said it in a confused way, pardon my relative lack of expertise on this topic.
When the solar inverter sees a valid grid (~240V ~60 Hz), it outputs power. When Powershare is active, the Cybertruck generates the grid waveform.
