What is pricing running for just clear PPF protection? Do shops clean and prep truck before installation.?
Would there be any benefit to just PPF the frunk? Kind of like a clear bra PPF I had on my M3P.

I paid 4k for PPF and a ceramic coat. They did all the prep work. I couldn’t stand the fingerprints all over constantly. I’m sure clear is slightly cheaper material cost. I’d do the doors before the front end.

  • This is where your truck is most likely to take impacts from rocks and bugs. It would help prevent scratches and make it easier to clean. The issue is that it would be hard to match the finish of the rest of the vehicle, since it's not glossy and its not perfectly matte.

Thanks for responses. I was worried about the bugs for sure but it makes sense for the doors.. fingerprints are hard to remove .

Car spray and washes do an awesome job at removing the fingerprints.
