Just checking inventory this morning in the Tesla Shop...saw the 3M sticker kit aka bumper protectors went up $15 from $80 to $95 - laughable. I purchased these as soon as I could, as I am a fan of preventative measures when it comes to my vehicles, but was oh so disappointed when the 6x6 box arrived with a few rolls of rubber foam stickers in it.

Although I was disappointed, I went ahead and installed them anyway to bridge the gap until something with a little more...protection comes along. Since installing, they have grown on me and I now prefer the almost-invisible look versus other options I've seen around the interwebz. They do provide some traction when stepping up into the vault, as well as prevent incidental scratching of the pwastic twim while doing standard truck things.

I like this option from EV-Vida. Only $65 and made out of stainless steel.

I've seen them...and they appear to be a solid choice in the limited bumper protector section of the world now. I'll still be holding off for a three piece armor set versus a five piece for the horizontal surfaces, and hoping to someday see an armor kit for the vertical surfaces?

I'm sure the next company that wants to compete with Unplugged will do just fine in that extremely unsaturated market.
