They rescheduled me for 3 weeks straight…every Wednesday told me it was ready. Now I’m told end of June. Makes no sense. Someone working there 2 weeks ago told me it was a battery clip that needed to be replaced. I’m pretty sure tho, he was making that up, cu I haven’t been given a reason since….just “Maintenence hold”, so they can’t release the truck.

I'm annoyed too. My delivery was May 7 and they tell me they know nothing. They called May 6 and said there was an issue. 10 days later still no information. Financing will expire soon and I already paid $23k down in cash. How hard is it to just tell us what's wrong?

As I just posted in another thread, my PAWD VIN 95xxx just went in transit to delivery location. I'm assuming (hoping) they would not let a known affected truck leave Giga Texas.

Sure they would. Need space and service centers would be the ones fixing the issue.

100% agree. First rule of customer service is just be honest about what’s going on and keep people informed. It’s not complicated.

Well, this thread explains why I got my vin in late April and it feels like it keeps getting delayed. Tesla ai is telling me it is in transit and due next week (94xxx). Im glad to know not to expect it till July. I will no longer get my hopes up.

My advisor told me because it’s a containment hold the value of the trade in won’t change.

I already signed my financing paperwork, sent them $25k and set up the recurring payment cycle. If waiting until end of June at best, that will be approx 7 weeks since signing my financing which typically triggers a resubmit and credit check.

Yea I paid $23k and also undid my trade in bc I didn't have the title on time. Now I have it. This is f'd

Yeah, it's a Michigan thing. Vehicle title transfer happens out of state so we need to prepay.
