Were you able to format and partition the Tesla thumb drive? I haven’t been able to partition it. What did you use?I have same issue
Downloaded the file and renamed, with and without partitions …. Nothing works ?
The partitions have to be formatted in fat 32. I formatted the whole thumb drive in fat 32. It worked for me. That said it stopped recording dash cam footage. Still have to work that out.Hrmm managed to do this in windows file manager, but no luck
No matter what partition i saved the lockchime on
Here the deal, if you reformat the USB on your computer then you have to manually add the Sentry and dashcam folders in. Otherwise they don't know where to save. Check the manual for naming conventions. There's a section telling you exactly how to do it.Well, it worked after erasing the thumbnail drive, and reforming it to fat32 but now the dash cam and security files don’t know where to go. I think if I make some directory files for them, that will fix it. I was not able to partition the Tesla thumbnail drive. I don’t know why, but it will not allow it. If anyone knows of a good workaround, please let me know.
