I was driving down the street with the windows down on a warm day. As I was driving by a man standing in his yard, who looked at my CT, I heard him yell "what the hell?" with his arms raised!

I saw a man taking a picture of my CT while I was parked. I asked him what do you think? He said, "he doesn't like it." Wondering why he took the picture then?

It’s been pretty mild (almost all positive with just a couple of head shakers). Until this morning.

Was getting a few packages out of the back seat at a post office in Edmonds WA when a guy diverted his route back to his car, walked directly with a couple feet and gave me an ear full about what a terrible vehicle it is and that I am a terrible person for owning it. Always told myself I would ignore the haters, but this guy wouldn’t shut up or back away.

I finally asked, “why are you telling me this? Why does it bother you?”

“Because it represents communism and you are a communist and you support Russia!”

I just said, “Well, you don’t know me and it’s an amazing vehicle.” I walked into the Post Office but he kept yelling about me being a communist and supporter of Russia and him having way more knowledge than me. He was still there when I came out of the Post Office, but then he drove away in his Ford Escape, with the window down and yelling.

Meanwhile, another guy pulls up in a sweet 1962 Chevy pickup, asks if that’s my Cybertruck, and said he loved it. We had a nice talk (I also have a few classic cars of various makes because I like cool stuff).

The first guy, though, geez! Not knowing how unhinged he really was, it made me think about carrying mace like a few Tesla owners I know up here. It’s one thing to make a comment, but that’s the first time anyone has gone out of their way to get in my face.

Here’s one from last night. (Drunk asshat of the day). I was at an mma event and ran out when I got the alarm notification on my phone. The guy had stopped to admire his work so I jumped in Bessie to chase after him. A bystander was on the phone with the cops who pulled into the lot just as he took off past them. I parked and got the contact info from the bystander. No need for me to get involved chasing down the idiot. About an hour later I got a call from the cops with a case number for insurance and letting me know the guy was intoxicated and now in custody.
