Q2 Incentives?

Any predictions on Q2 incentives? Wondering how long before 0% and/or more aggressive pricing?

Car manufacturers, including Tesla, commonly offer the best deals as the end of the quarter approaches, which would be late May or June.

Tesla offered 0% financing on the Model 3 in late Q1, so that option could be on the table.

Tesla is currently offering Free Lifetime Supercharging with purchase of a Model S, Model X, or Foundation Series Cybertrucks. Seems like the next step could be to extend that offer to non-Foundation Series Cybertrucks, especially the remaining unsold 2024s.

You would think it's safe to say they would at least run something similar to Q1.

If the 10 year rate continues to drop over the next couple months, I could see the 2 percent financing they offered last month be offered for a couple weeks, and then depending on volume drop to zero for couple weeks.

My guess is a price drop on the 2024s of $7,000 to make them equivalent to the tax incentive, people who don't apply for the tax incentive will snap these up.

For 2025s I think they will drop the price by $5000 after the 2024s are cleared out along with offering 0% near the end of the quarter.

Just as long as the POS tax incentive doesn't disappear, like people were telling us in January.

I decided to defer my Cybertruck purchase to June 2025. Hopefully another 2% or lower finance rate. Economy might require a few more incentives... FSD transfer, Cyber rims or white interior upgrade with paid FSD, etc... Aint no "free color choice" available!
