I had published a previous version of this. I recently dropped it on the floor and it broke so I took the opportunity to improve the design a bit. Now it is more streamlined, provides more visibility and is tougher (can withstand a drop). I originally called this a goofy project but honestly it is one of my favorite, most-useful 3d printed accessories for the truck. Model can be downloaded for free here:

Penta-prism for CyberTruck rear view camera

You will need a large-format printer such as the PrusaXL to print the 5x30 version which is recommended for maximum visibility. However, I did also provide a 5x20 which works well enough and can be printed on a standard 3d printer.

[Update]
This thread has gotten long enough I thought, so folks don't have to read every post, I would highlight here in the OP that the device cannot display the entire camera field of view. If you bring up the full-view camera app either manually or when entering reverse, most of the camera view is blocked and only that portion used in the rear view when in drive is reflected. Still a lot better than pointing to the ground but best to set proper expectations.

I own a 3D printer farm and would be willing but need to test run it with some abs for durability if TickTock didn’t already plan on distributing these or selling them. I refuse to steal prints for resale.

Thanks for asking. I have no plans to sell so feel free to produce and sell (but do note the Copyright terms require Attribution and link to the original free model download).

I printed in PCTG which, IMO, is a a great choice.

Awesome project! So, FSD works, very cool. Since I don't own a 3d printer, if anyone is planning on making them, I would be interested in buying one.

I am interested in your Tire Rack system. Any details somewhere on how you built that? BTW, the camera mirror is awesome. I am definitely going to buy/print this. Unfortunately, I think my printer might be too small.

Love it!!!

I was thinking of making a mechanism that would shift the rear camera so it could be flipped down to point back when the tailgate is down. I also know electrically the cable can be extended for remote mounting it.

You will probably need to engage the latches on both sides of the tailgate. I use them to secure bungees which has the side effect of making the truck think the tailgate is closed. Also, you will get a warning message about the camera being occluded, but I saw no degradation in FSD performance.
