Did you use your free unlimited supercharging on your 2015 MS? Do you use on your CT? If so are you concerned about Tesla telling you that you use it too much since they have now taken away the "unlimited" title and added a bunch of scary disclaimers?
I did indeed have free, unlimited supercharging on the 2015 MS. When looking at charging stats, roughly 15% of charging was done at Tesla superchargers. 85% of charging happened at home, overnight, during off peak hours. Only on the occasional longer trip (>300 km) is when I would have to charge away from home. The CT did not come with free supercharging. Was offered a few months after I got my CT. Would have been nice if Tesla retroactively offered this to early movers.

I am seeing many Youtube posts making the case for the Cybertruck being a total failure and even surpassing the Edsel as the worst new car failure ever.
I have a Foundation CT on order, awaiting recall repairs for the cantrail issue so I haven't received my CT yet.
I am growing concerned that maybe this purchase is a mistake. The FUD is working.
Also, I am thinking if I hold out a little longer, until the 1st quater earnings call, maybe there will be some serious additional incentives on the CT if Tesla really does need to start moving these trucks due to super low sales and all the issues with panels falling off, etc.
I would sure appreciate the community's feedback on this.
I received my foundation series 8/2024. I have almost 14,000 miles on the vehicle including a 2,000 mile roundtrip between Texas and Arizona. I've owned Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks in the past. The Cybertruck is the best all-around truck I have owned. The only complaint has been range when hauling a trailer. I ran a welder and two grinders out of the back of the truck using the on-board 220V and 120V outlets. We make numerous trips to the lake for SCUBA dive classes. Love being able to lift tanks in & out and sit on the tailgate at Entry Mode height. Also, I love not having to pay for gas. Plug in when I get home, drive away in the morning with 80% charge or more depending on the trips. I'm quite happy with the vehicle.

Do you really listen to anyone in the media? If so don't buy the CT. Love mine and could care less what a media hack hit piece says.

I'll add my note to the love fest...

I had a Lightning for 2 years and 25k miles which was great.

Sold it and bought a CT a few months ago. The CT is OMG amazing super wow compared to the Lightning.

Don’t buy it. You clearly need external reinforcement for what you do and you trust those external sources. Why buy something, no matter how great it is (and it ‘is’ great), if you are going to turn around and sell it later? I don’t buy anything based on advertising or influencers or whatever; I decide what my requirements are and buy the thing that meets those requirements. Only after I have made my decision do I look for a good price or for opinions. To each their own.

I believe that the anti Tesla demonstrations are financed and promoted by persons that have shorted the stock. Many were envious of the past marked increase in stock price and wanted to get a lower price. The SEC should investigate this.
And what about Fred Lambert at Electrek.co who used to be a big promoter and enthusiast of Tesla and is now a hater and instigator of hate against Elon Musk?

Glad you have your personal strategy figured out.
Also glad it's a free country (at least for now) and I can gather my own Intel and act on my own desires and requirements

I have a Lightning now and enjoy it, but it's tech is archaic compared to my Teslas, so hoping my CT will be the perfect combination. There are some great features on the Lightning Lariat that I think I will miss but looking forward to finding out eventually

Indeed, that would be a great gesture on Tesla's part, and IMO, would be the fair thing to do.

Social Media seems more dangerous then traditional media now. Everybody I know cancelled cable TV a long time ago. They don't watch TV. But they know all about the Cybertruck and Tesla. And have all the fake ideas about the company and the vehicles.

The crazy is getting spread online now through social media. They are trying to impress each other with their stupidity. Not sure what the answer to that will be.

I think that’s crazy. This is our fifth new Tesla and it is by far my favorite one. It’s also my fifth new pick up truck and by far my favorite one.

The CT may not run for er but it will be supported by Tesla thru warranty and beyond.

Heck the other car I own only has about 1000 sold per year so it's definitely doable although the Tesla factory needs to cover itself so may need to spin up other models at it in TX to make sense long term. Perhaps robots.

My 3rd Tesla, traded in my R1T. Got AWD CT and nothing comes close. No issues. Rather buy from a solid innovative company vs good to mediocre alternatives. On my 3rd test drive & now having it for 2 months it's amazing. 9600kw output into home (interlock switch, no extra boxes, inverters needed) and FSD...I drive it myself perhaps 5% rest I sit back, relax & smile all day long! Buy it, you will not regret it.

Owned many cars incl 2 Tesla M3 and Rivian R1T. CT excels by far. 4 in 1 vehicle, Truck, back up power V2H 9.6kw from bed, FSD & cybertaxi that gets ROI. Many brand new technologies inside. You will not regret buying.

Decide only after test driving one. I am in love with mine, the way it drives, the space, the utility, even the look. Ask around and see if someone will let you drive theirs, wherever you live. I would say SURE!
if still unsure, do a Turo rental of the cybertruck, test daily driving, take through your scenarios you experience in regular life
