Why do you think “like all the other vehicle manufactures and have no issues”? FYI, it is more accurate to say “all manufacturers have recalls”. Your other statement “Clearley every CT is breaking down and bricking” is also totally inaccurate. Do you live in another world? I have a CT and it has not bricked or had major issues. What service shops have needed bailouts? You are going to hear a higher proportion of problems on this forum than reality. That is just the nature of forums. Come on man! Get a grip on reality. Sheesh!
See? I wasn't fast enough and people don't get satire via text sometimes.

My friend, re-read my comment. Yes it was totally absurd. #sarcasm ;)

Right! I mean why can't Tesla be like all the other vehicle manufactures and have no issues, no recalls on new models, and no surprise issues that come up with brand new models? Especially ones that take major technology leaps forward. Imagine what Tesla could save on service centers. Odd though, all the service centers and repair shops all over the country, many that work on vehicles less than a year old. Maybe that's why they struggle so much with profitability and have needed bailouts ?

Clearly every CT is breaking down and bricking and having major issues. Maybe it would be different and more acceptable if it was just a small percentage and the vast majority of owners were extremely happy and having no issues outside a few recalls (that new thing no other legacy manufactures ever have).
Less than 1% of the trucks have issues. My CT Beast is flawless and so are many, many others AWD and Beasts.

oof... should have used the sarcasm font. People are going to think you don't realize everyone has recalls...
LOL! That's what I was thinking. Apparently some did not pick up on the sarcasm! Someone should do research on all of the other car companies, and create a spreadsheet showing all of the recalls other vehicles have had for the last 20 years. It would be eye-opening! But, the CT haters will find something wrong with that anyways. What everyone needs to realize is that the CT haters are just a small vocal minority. CT lovers are not necessarily writing in to challenge the haters. We are just reading their crap, shaking our heads, and going about our business. There is no cure for stupid.

There is a very recent post with similar experience:

Careful, the fanboys will come after you.
Yea they will! those annoying brainwashed people with all their facts, data, and actual first hand personal experiences and not just antidotes from clickbait, haters, and trolls. Thank God there are no Chevy, Ford, GMC, Toyota, BMW, Ferrari fans that are so outwardly brand loyal and like those companies. Can you imagine if Tesla wasn't the only brand with people who like them, buy their products, and talk them up. That would be crazy! Stupid fan boys giving me all the feels. I mean why are they even here on a Tesla Cybertruck forum of all places anyway? Just to annoy us and make me mad ?

It's a shame that Tesla feels it is ok to make people unpaid beta testers. You pay $100,000 to $120,000 for a vehicle and you do not get all the features you paid for, i.e. FSD, PowerShare, light bar, hub caps, basic quality control, a clean vehicle at delivery, charged at 75% or more, etc. FSD and PowerShare are $16,000 or roughly 13% of the purchase price of a Beast that will not be provided to you when you drive off the lot. When will you get that $16,000 worth of stuff? Some unknown time in the future.

I guess it really is too much to expect to get something that works as advertised on purchase date.

Well, 3 days later and no truck. Got a text yesterday saying they hadn't even diagnosed it yet. The SC guy said they fired almost 50% of the SC employees a few months ago during the Tesla layoffs even though deliveries have only increased and repairs still need to be made. WTF Elon???? Went in this morning to get an update and trade in the model 3 they gave me with 20% Battery for something nicer or at least something with a stronger charge. They gave me a model Y performance this time with about 75% battery so that was good. To be fair the employee I mostly deal with there has been a total rockstar.

The tech said they have to order parts to include the low voltage battery and some door panel pieces to hopefully get rid of the noise. It sounds like they are going to replace the wiper blade and maybe fix the recall? That part of the discussion was a little strange. He said my vehicle is under the recall but the system doesn't let them look it up or something. The quoted parts would take until the 22nd to arrive and bumped my pickup date to the 26th.

So 3 weeks without my truck. Kinda disappointed in the process but at the same time glad they are taking care of everything. I dont know how I should feel to be honest. Im thinking I may ask to have the truck back next week when I get back from my work trip. At least until the parts come in. I really miss the truck but the FSD on the loaner vehicles has been fun to mess with. Cant wait for FSD on the truck.

Another question is my free supercharging subscription is just burning away while this is in the shop. Should or can I ask for an extension? Any luck in the past with things like that?
