I don't consider the CT a truck. It's nothing but an expensive latest tech toy for those who can afford it. I took it offroad and the suspension is way too stiff to handle the bumps at high speed. The truck bed is nothing but a glorified giant trunk, don't think it's very usual for "real" truck duties.

I have both the Cyberbeast and a Raptor. Beast is definitely more fun to drive...on smooth tarmac! But cannot compare to the Raptor for offroad. I don't do "real" truck stuffs.

I tend to agree; I see it more like an overpowered suv. For the OP,age is chronically manageable. However you are putting up too many barriers I.e no sc in Maine ect. Imagine if you have a service issue - are you willing to drive out of state and manage transportation. There are options out there, only you can find what’s a fit.

I received my reservation request to configure my cyber truck. It’s extremely expensive for what I get. Doesn’t qualify for a rebate to drop the price. $91,010 is overpriced, there is no negotiation. Buy it or leave the queue. Any + feedback requested. I also needed FSD as I’m 75 and soon wont be able to drive safely. Included in order is a charger.
You don't have to leave the queue.

So what would you like people to suggest to you?

Drop the lifetime FSD & pay monthly as you go…personally I think the $7000 is the better deal because believe me…you will enjoy and keep this long term…making it worth it but it’s up to you

Aren't people allowed to stay in the queue? I assume that there are people that are waiting for rear wheel drive. If you get the invite now it's impossible to purchase.

If they will drop you from the queue I would let that happen in your situation. Wait 2 or 3 years, then buy a used foundation series with everything at $60,000.

A used electric car has the potential to last for decades.

Wait until they work out the " kinks " and bring back the $7500 tax credit... like everything else (and past Tesla practices) the cost will eventually come down.

Considering they were offering AWD for $49,000 when ordered and FSD for $7,000. It increaded beyond my predictions, almose doubled and NO $7,000 rebate, nor Maine’s $2500 as well now. It’s a big bite for a retiree.

Luckily everything else is the exact same price as 2019. So you’re saving there!!

I'm 81. If u have driving issues? U have no need for the CT. Get a 3 or Y that's much easier to get in and out of with same options. My CT is NOT easy to get in or out of. Getting up in bed is impossible without a step ladder. I have OLD friends I have help Getting in and out. There are NO GRAD HANDLES,

Demand Will halt, even at current lower prices , the market is pretty small, relative to Teslas goals with this product. The proof is in the volume numbers Tesla reported for last quarter. Tesla sold around 10k S and X combined. Thats 40k per year annualized. There is no chance this is Teslas planned stopping point for price. I’d almost bet we will see $59,000 $79,000 in the next 12 to 18 months. Production efficiency and cheaper batteries will make that happen. If a person can’t afford it now, just wait. There is no shame in waiting for a product to fit your budget.

Keep the FSD. I'm 71 and find the FSD very helpful on any road trip short or long. It is worth the money. I paid 101k for mine so 91k is worth it. Honestly , you wont regret it. And the FSD is fantastic.

I’m also thinking of others on the road as at 75, I wonder about my driving skills.
