I wanted AWD/4WD and the range was good with me. I think I would have stayed with this range, even if they offered a less expensive dual motor with less range.

I do not need the sport/super car performance of the tri-motor and the price completely takes it out of budgetary approval range.

These reservation numbers are from the crowdsourced reservation spreadsheet:

Update:

As of April 27, reservations have been calculated to be over 650k! Here's how they break down by location and trims.

With that low of take rate for a single motor model I could see them doing away with it completely even before launch.
it be the smart move and change from single dual and tri to a dual and quad option and price them more apart to increase margins take the dual from 50k > 45k and quad at 75k but add aextra range and tow ability

The "Top 10 Countries" chart shows 419k US and 53k Canada, which means Canadian reservations way exceed the 10% expectation (Canada has one-tenth the population of the US). But the pie chart shows Canadian orders at 10% -- so the data seem confusing.

I must be the only one in the state of Missouri to order one.... Missouri didn't even make the list
I am also a reservation holder in Missouri. I know 3 of my farmer neighbors have them pre-ordered.

If most of those bypassing the single-motor did so only because they need 4WD, maybe Tesla would offer a 4WD single -- in order to offer a low-cost model.
