Reservations for Canadians with US address?

i'd really like to know if my place in line will get honored if I have a US mailing address versus my Canadian one or how it will all play out if my place in line is currently 6000 - I would really like to be able to pick my cyber truck up based on my place in line not because I live in Canada

I was a very early reservation holder for the model 3, which I placed on the first day in 2016. I am a Canadian living in Ontario and got the 28 K model 3 made on June 8 of 2018 after they started deliveries to employees in July of 2017. Incidentally, June 8 was election day in Ontario in which Ford was elected and he proceeded to cancel the previous administrations very generous 14 K CAD rebate.

I believe that Tesla was aware of this political situation such that they were pushing cars up to Ontario, but as you see, I received one of the earliest model 3's and have had very few issues with it despite all the complaints and production hell.

It took me 6 months but I finally did get my 14 K rebate from Ford!

So hopefully being in Canada/ Canadian should not make much difference. Other factors that may affect delivery would be first deliveries to local people and employees (IE those living in Texas) and in the case of the model 3, people who prevously owned a tesla were also given preference.

I get things shipped to my us post box all the time as Im right by the border... I just haven't heard anything concrete about place in line for Canadian vs Us citizens... @elon

Well, there's no sales force equipped with handling the Cybertruck yet.

You'd have a better bet asking a more general Telsa owners forum looking for Canadians that have split addresses and residency.

Generally, it's where you're taking delivery, paying the taxes and whatnot, that determined delivery. So if you're going to pick up in the US, you'll need to speak to a US store, including the US website, to arrange it.
