reminder to everyone out there: if someone does something like this to your car, you are also owed the depreciated value of the car due to the repairs in addition to fully restoring the car prior to the condition of the vandalism.

And that doesn't even cover suing them for additional loss in wages for taking time out of your work day to take care of such a hassle. They really need to be forced to pay the absolute maximum you can possibly squeeze out. Including jail time.

I want those of you who keep wanting this to be a hate crime to simply say that you do not like the definition of a “hate crime” being focused only on minorities and other groups and that you’d like to change the definition rather than pretending that you don’t know that this is not that. ?

Rain and sleet are both precipitation. They are NOT the same thing. That doesn’t change the fact that this is immoral, unacceptable, tortious and criminal and needs to stop immediately!

Also, doesn’t change the fact that if I catch somebody doing this to my ride the least of their concerns is going to be whether I mischaracterize their actions for political posturing.
