I put in a reservation at the start of the show, for $100 there's essentially no reason not to. My intention to purchase is about 5%, but who knows. Side note: this is also the reason reservation numbers essentially are meaningless, outside of requirements to put down larger amounts (i.e. - Roadster).

I don't like the front end, and it's not going to change across the lineup. Not having many service centers and the front end have kept me away. Everything else about Rivian is generally solid; tech, performance, and build quality all great.

The big three questions that remain are as follows:
1) What are the costs of each trim? A compact SUV with poor performance at 45k isn't really anything to brag about. Will the <3 second tri-motor be around $50k? I doubt it, but that could get me to buy.
2) What will these vehicles look like when they start pumping out considerably more? One of Rivians biggest advantages over Tesla is build quality, can they keep the high quality when quadrupling output?
3) Will there be a service network that can take care of both 4x the new vehicles + the wear and tear seen on an aging R1 fleet?

I think that Rivian has a good chance with the 3 vehicles introduced, but since we won't see any of them until 2026, it's going to be awhile.

They are aiming for the top markets, the trucks, which is where most of the efforts need to be to dethrone the ICE.
