Hi all,

I noticed these marks on the front of my Cybertruck and I attempted to clean them by trying the following methods:

1. Water + microfiber cloth = no luck
2. Water + soap = no luck
3. Water and Bar Keepers friend = some help to remove the bronze/orange colour however marks are now smaller YET white.

not sure what else I can try. Has anyone else experienced this?

the photos attached are from BEFORE trying bar keepers friend.
The video is after applying bar keepers friend. You can see the marks but now they are light white.
I will note, there is no physical texture to any of these.

That looks like a burn mark or something… maybe acid or fire? I wonder if your vehicle was vandalized.

That’s what I thought also. I’ve checked all sentry videos from last few days and also home security… nothing stands out.
I did go to a service center a few days ago to get my tires rotated.

I assume from your location, you live in Jersey. Salt and Magchloride do a hell of a number on it and those spots look similar.

I dont know how you used the BKF, but with magchloride/salt, you really need to put in elbow grease. If you can use a buffer machine, thats your best bet and it will come right off.

Hey man. I would recommend an iron remover. I use one from Adam’s. Spray it onto the panel in a cool spot no direct sun and let it sit for five minutes then remove with a wet microfiber and hose down. Can’t really beat it.

You’ll get the iron spots throughout your ownership because there’s iron in the air/roads from brake dust. That’s normal.

Like Autoheadz said, use an iron remover to get rid of it. I asked Tesla about it when I took delivery and they told me they use an iron remover.

I’ll be trying Citrisurf77 when it gets warmer and see how that goes.
