safety restraint system issue

anyone else here have a safety restraint issue? it flashes a warning , beeps.. sometimes every 40 seconds are so, other times it is fine for 20 minutes, no warnings... I tried all the seatbelts. Nothing so far, I will have to bring it in for service. Last time I spoke to my dealership they had no idea what could be the cause, I will have to leave it with them for days...

while the seatbelt is connected? or is it the passenger seat while no one is sitting in it? Sometimes I Have items sitting on the seat and will think there is someone sitting there.

So you have nothing in the passenger seat the seat belt is not buckled and you are getting a safety restraint problem ?

I am the only one in the truck, nothing on any seats...I will get warning sometimes even before putting my seat belt on...sometimes as soon as i sit on drivers seat, and sometimes without even being in the drivers seat..

I am getting a similar error message. "Front left safety restraint system fault." Service is required.

Took to SC, who reported: Performed circuit checks and verified no hardware issues or circuit fault found. Further diagnosis isolated that the fault presenting is a software issue and will be resolved in future firmware. No repairs made at this time.

This is so annoying! Alert comes and goes.
The 2 button reset and power down only clears it temporarily.

I have enabled Joe Mode and waiting for the firmware update.

This randomly showed up in my X once. Just locked the seatbelt a couple times and it went away.

After another trip to a different SC, my issue is now resolved.

Repair Notes: Identified customer concern. Tested wiring circuit and found improper pin fitment. Replaced affected terminals. Tested, no left safety restraint system fault present at this time.

OP, have your SC test the wiring circuit. I hope this helps.
