Had the same rattle yesterday. SC moved wheel inwards by a mm, and its totally gone. Probably should be a firmware update to limit range slightly.
If it’s pushing the wheel back 1 mm versus getting a 25 and losing lifetime free supercharging, the millimeter seems to make sense.

I just took a ton of videos on the day of delivery and drove off. That way you can just set a service appointment at a later date and it would be difficult for them to deny.

Or, try another 2024 CT in inventory. I had a couple issues initially with my "Demo" 2024 Foundation Purchase a few months ago, and Tesla was very responsive in fixing. I have had NO issues and you will LOVE the Cybertruck. Take advance of the 2024 incentives (we love having free supercharging! Especially when the prices jump during prime time!). We also have the Y and now my wife and I just like driving (or should I say FSD "Supervising" :)) the Cybertruck. The Y feels old tech compared to the CT (steer by wire and 4 wheel steering is amazing!). The air ride is also much better! While it is larger, it drives smaller than its size, through parking lots, etc. And when driving in low mode (better aero/range, too), it is not high up like most trucks (it is more like an SUV). I was 100% wrong about the Cybertuck being a gimmick/nonsense triangle design! It reset my brain! I even love the Vault being able to hold more because of the triangle. It is so much better than people realize! And the 50amp (and Powershare) has already been used more than I expected! And it tows much better than expected too! You are on the Frontier! Hang in there, it is worth it!

100% agree with this.. they all seem to have rattles anyway, might as well get the incentives
Mine doesn’t have. Any rattles. There was a creaking sound coming from what sounded like the rear passenger side door only when starting to move or a slow speed turn to the left. It went away the next day and hasn’t come back.

Got my AWD 12-13. My 5th Tesla and best built one to date. Just that rattle under the steering wheel. I put a self stick foam pad between the 2 plastic pieces that slide into each other and not a single sound since then. You can see the felt Tesla puts there and my foam piece

Now, that's a great picture that clarifies things! Thanks.

I had the same rattle. It is the steering wheel sleeve. They fabricated a rubber gasket and the rattle is gone. My serial # is 24k. Had the truck since August. The roll-up mechanism for the tonneau fell apart. Going into the shop tomorrow for a fix. This is the 5th shop time for the truck for various reasons. Love the thing though!!

My advice is if your that sensitive to rattles and noises the CT may not be for you as you are going to prob develop more from the console, headliner, and more over time versus a much more solid interior on some other brands.

I have a dash rattle due to the steering wheel being all the way extended. It a piece of trim that barely touches the wheel at full length, so it rattles. I put a tiny piece of rubber gasket I had between the two, and have forgot all about it until this post.
Maybe a photo?

Hey any chance you could post a picture of this and what you did to resolve it with the rubber gasket? I have the something similar and the SC said it was because the wheel is too forward as well, they said they resolved it but its still there, I was wondering if what you did would fix it. Thanks, Appreciate it.

Here is a photo. The one above is much better. This was supposed to be temporary, but it works and I forgot about it. It’s a piece of rubber trim with sticky back.
