Selling my house with the Beast 🤔

I thought it was an interesting idea and it would certainly appeal to a specific buyer (probably many of us here), but probably not the easiest way to sell a house (especially if you don't want to get rid of the truck). I don't know why some people get so worked up over other people's ideas when you are just asking for an opinion.

We’re in the process of prepping the house for sale. It was a custom build and we expect it will go quickly. We love it but moving closer to family. It’s a Colorado dream house if you’re into the great outdoors. We’re skiers, mtn bikers and rock climbers and have all that at a stones throw. I’m sure we’ll miss it.

I’m considering marketing my house for sale and including the Foundation Series Cyberbeast with PowerShare.

The house is fully tricked out with home automation, centralized AV, home theater, solar, and a bunch of whole house systems such as vac, etc. This would be a geeks dream home.

The contract for house with vehicle will present more paperwork but that’s about it. I’d replace the Beast with an AWD CT as I love vehicle.

I'd expect your realtor's reaction "That is a stupid idea"!

Where is the value in that "add-on"? As an obvious Tesla fan it seems an odd thing to try. Say I find your house via my realtor, I like it, I see the price, I see this "Cybertruck included", I would immediately think "Ok, I can knock $100-$120k off the price right since I don't want the truck". Negotiations would be funny to see, that I agree.

*** Sell the Sizzle!! I mean how many competing homes have 11 mobile powerwalls that can charge in town and bring power back for the home? It works better for a cash buyer. But if the buyer is getting a loan be sure to talk to your Realtor and a trusted lender about how this could affect the loan to value ratio for a buyer. If the buyer gets a mortgage the mortgage lender will do an appraisal. The lender's appraisal is based on. "real property" aka land, structure etc. Not personal property like the truck which could be a large percentage of vthe total value. Its similar to a farm sale where the lender has a hard time financing the implements like the tractors and other equipment. Possible but do the research.
