Sentry mode shuts off repeatedly

Sentry mode has shut itself off repeatedly. I turn it on and find out that at some point it is now turned off. It is not on the main menu so there is zero chance of accidently shutting it off.
Does anyone else have this happening on their truck?

Do you have the original Tesla usb stick installed?
I had that problem with my Y when the larger samsung ssd I used started spazzing out.
I went back to the original usb and it was fine.
Also, a reseat and reformat of the usb storage maybe not a bad idea.

I have a 2tb drive since i bought the truck but it just started recently.

I had the same issue when I went with the Tesla 1TB SSD. Returned it and got the Samsung T7 Shield. No more random shut off.

Nothing but trouble with these external SSD drives for me. Back to the Tesla branded model and it’s fine.

Now I'm thinking it's the one into four port I installed... I'm going to take that out and see if it stops

Sucks too given the… climate lol. I’m having to check manually after car locks.

I have Samsung 2tb installed only issue I had was the cable it come with is garbage, swapped it and issues gone. Also note when software updating disables sentry, sometimes they turn it back on, others not so much, always check after an update.

Mine has stopped shutting off. Not sure why.

Mine turned off too. I am certain I didn't do it, but when I went to look at my live camera, I got the "turn sentry mode on?" prompt in the app. Sure enough, I got in the truck and it was set to off.

Not a good thing to be happening with all the vandals out there.
