Service people happy if you bring key card

Brought my CT in for it’s first service. I am having the winter tire package installed, and the wheel covers.

Service manager was sad I did not bring my key card.
I never use mine. So didn’t think to bring it. I use my phone and watch.

Bottom line, at least at Spokane, they would prefer you bring your key card.

Been there twice and have never been asked for a key. As soon as you drive into the "Geo fence" they have control!

I would have thought service had a system like that. So I was surprised.

And I thought, for the rest of the hour or so I waited:
Well if the key card is so important, why not tell me in the 5-6 messages you sent me in the app?

There is too much variation between the quality of service and competence between SC. They absolutely have the ability to do whatever they need to your car without having your key card fob or even presence. Now you know better .

Can confirm in Fife they don't need the key card and I brought mine. They said they didnt need it but it was good to have it on my person just in case. As long as you drop the vehicle off inside the building not outside. Their super keys dont work well outside.

when I was at Liberty Lake to get my hubcaps, I went for my card and he said, he didn’t need it. I knew this was true, because the time before I had done an early drop off and gave them the wrong card and it didn’t stop them. We have one in my wife’s hood ?
