I have never seen anyone mention of my favorite features. The slanted windshield means bugs fly over the truck instead of hitting the windshield. Lots of bugs on the frunk cover, but that's a good trade-off.
But it seems to give the birds a bigger target...

Have you had the "precision lens cleaning" service? This was a recall and it fixed the problem for me.
That's not really relevant to the CT not including Autopilot's autosteer.

Is it a Foundation model?
No Cybertruck has it. Only FSD which came with the FS, but not with non-Foundation. FSD is not the same.

The CT is the only Tesla that does not have standard Autosteer with AutoPilot.

Understood, but the recall only impacted FSCT. At that time it did not have FSD only good ol' auto pilot.

Why would you want AP? It's a downgrade from my perspective.

Only FS came with FSD. Many like that AP with Autosteer maintains speed better and doesn't change lanes. I only use FSD, but the point from the poster is that lane keep does not come on the CT and most believe it's to sell more FSD to CT owners.

I don’t comprehend this question in regards to my feature wish…

if I clean the lense, suddenly AutoSteer Beta will get installed?

??

Becasue I trust FSD even less than I trust the Simple AutoPilot

I just want something to hold me in the lane going down the highway

I see thanks for elaborating. I like it in my model 3 and the lane changes can be a bit annoying, especially when you have to repeatedly tell FSD to cancel the lane change (and it already turned on the signal).

That said, if I change the FSD to "chill mode" it tends to stay in it's lane. I also like that FSD has a better understanding of the flow of traffic speed and can set a max speed (but sometimes it goes slower than I would prefer).

I hear you. My experience is, FSD does that very well after the "precision lens cleaning". But I also understand your concerns and familiarity. All the best!

While FUD abounds, as a Cybertruck AWD owner of nearly one year here are seven things I think most people don't realize about Cybertruck:
  • Cybertruck is built better than most vehicles - including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Range Rover, etc. It's just solid and everything works as it should. Best built vehicle out there and certainly the best-built Tesla by a country mile - and I've owned three others.
  • Cybertruck doesn't steer, handle or brake like a truck. Steering and handling, curiously, are much better than the 2021 Model S Plaid I traded in for it. Drive in low ride height and chill most of the time and it can manage a corner or tight parking lot space easier than the Model S due to four wheel steering. Just have to remember that no matter how nimble it seems, it's still quite long.
  • Steer-by-wire is revolutionary. I'm old enough to remember the early days of ABS and four wheel disc brakes which truly changed the safety and agility of many/most vehicles on the road. Steer-by-wire is...magical. You still have enough weight in wheel to feel the vehicle (fantastic tuning!) but not having to turn and turn and turn the wheel is how all vehicles should drive, always. The first time I drove one of my ICE SUV's after driving the Cybertruck for a few weeks I almost ran into a median - because I hadn't steered enough. It's effortless to drive around town or on highways.
  • Cybertruck is the easiest vehicle to clean inside and out. Sprayway ammonia free and wipe off with clean microfibers for the exterior and windows. I use armor-all wipes for the interior. Can clean the whole truck inside and out in under 30 mins. It's crazy how easy it is. And no need to worry about rock chips in the paint, scratches, etc. The stainless is, literally, bulletproof and the interior materials on the seats is comfortable but thicker and more durable than that in other Tesla models.
  • It's shockingly efficient. I averaged 321 Wh/mi in my 2021 Model S Plaid. In mild/hot conditions I average 333 Wh/mi (or better) in my Cybertruck AWD for over 350 miles of real-world range. Crazy.
  • Interior storage is okay, but could be better. I added the rear underseat storage tray which helps a lot. Also have the OEM frunk net which I'd highly recommend. But I prefer the center console of the S/X/Y better due to it's deep cubby space and the S/X have active ventilation for wireless phone charging which Cybertruck does not.
  • You can power your house via Cybertruck with a simple generator cord and inlet. That's all you need. No fancy Powershare. Just plug it in and flip a breaker.
I've got plenty more, but the lists get long otherwise and no one will want to read them. Feel free to add in the thread!

There's a whole lot of negative, one-liner trolls on these forums so it's awesome to see some positive thought-through sentiments.

100% agree with your comments. I was a mechanical engineer, handy man, business owner, etc. etc. and owned tons of trucks and cars over 30 years. I've use my CT on a Texas ranch (replaced my 1994 F350 7.3 star truck) then drive it downtown in techy Austin...and everywhere in between my kids.

Easily best vehicle ever owned. It has it all:
1. Utility of an SUV and truck
2. Drives like a supercar Lambo, Lotus, corvette
3. Smooth like a Mercedes or Cadillac
4. Techy like my iPhone

No vehicle combines everything like this and won't for a couple years I suspect...utility, 4 wheel steering, drive by wire, acceleration, tow ability, luxury, smoothness, customizabilty, insane uniqueness, Over The Air updates, FSD that is super helpful, technical features, spreads joy to every kids <18YO ...just plain cool looking (that is subjective, I know;)). Enjoy and keep the one-line complaints to yourself please. I watch CNN, MS-DNC and FoxNews for that negativity. Thanks Carsly for starting this post!!!!!

This is the Cybertruck experience in a nutshell - it's somehow, improbably, awesome at being so many different things! This should really be #1 on the list - one vehicle to rule them all

Is the missing slat a foundation series issue? Should non foundation buyers get this fixed also?
I had the missing slat added. Honestly, it’s really just for aesthetics. Mine was built Nov 15, but I believe all recent builds have the additional slat.
