Should I take the cybertruck fully coast to coast? Did the San Fran to Jax and back Feb- Mar and averaged 700 miles per day. Free supercharging helps but it’s going to be a long lonely ride going San Fran to Bangor…

Depends what the other options are for transport.

Yes. Have done it several times, trying different routes. This summer I went eastbound on I-80, westbound on I-70, and 70 was dramatically better through the plains states due to more 800V fast options like Flying J/EVGO and Ionna. 80 though Wyoming and Nebraska is painfully slow with only V2 superchargers and no reliable 800V alternatives.

I don’t know if this is the best company to do it because I have never done it but you could make a pretty good chunk of change on a trip that long if you’re willing to tow a trailer.
https://horizontransport.co/tow-away/
3326 miles x$1.70 which is what these guys say they pay is $5654.20.
That will buy a terrestrial armor package and a new set of tires/ bed rack or whatever.
If the car is financed, you can also pay down your loan which will reduce your interest long term resulting in a bigger payout.
Hell, buy $6k worth of Tesla stock and see what happens.
You could potentially sleep in said RV trailer and avoid hotel costs also.

The problem with this type of service, it is mainly driven by RV industry, which are located in northen Indiana. Most trips start from that area. Not much opportunity for trips from Ca to Ma.

Don’t know much about the details. Just an idea for how to capitalize on free supercharging

I wish I could make that trip! But a round trip, starting on the East coast!

That’s next month while I head back! I’m in Nebraska almost 1/2 way there, think I’ll take the SnoMexico northern route
