I just finished installing my @Mars Adventure Gear mods: Expedition Rack (front only), wind deflector, and 50” lightbar.
First impression: Super sturdy, fits exact, and highly functional. I have zero complaints during the install. Mars’ instructions were (mostly) complete and helpful. The instructions for the light bar must have been for an older model, but they work just fine for this version. The electrical hook up provided is fantastic and has a quick disconnect built into it. My light bar kit wound up one bolt short, and Mars was quick to mail that out to me the same day I contacted them about it. The rack fits exactly to the smallest measurement, same with the crossbars and the wind deflector. No rattles or vibrations everything is tight and solid. I may have an update after I use this thing for a year?
With the wind deflector, there is almost no appreciable noise added to the interior. After I added the light bar, I did not notice any increase in noise either. I don’t know if the ANC helps with that. Without the wind deflector, there is some noise, but not much.
I only installed the front rack because then I have full access to the vault, including to be able to use my cyber tent.
I also have yet to install the spare tire mount and the Starlink mini mount. Both of those will mount to the top of the rack.
I like the look (50% of the customer experience), and I really like the functionality (the other 50%). I can’t wait to get back out on the BDR and finish Washington state this summer.
