Side Camera View When Turn Signal is On

I just noticed this a day or so ago.
When I signal for a right or left turn or lane change, the rear view camera image on the screen changes to the camera view from the side I'm turning toward.
I know I might be a bit slow on the up take, but I think this is a recent software update.

No. Always been this way.

Tip: If you drive with the cameras up, it doesn’t change to the blinkers cause it’s already up there.

Been that way from the beginning, i would rather it default to the off road view where you can see all of the rear cameras .

There’s an option to disable that behavior, so that the rearview display remains. I’ve set it this way.
