I remain confused about why anyone uses Tesla-provided apps for streaming music/sound, when it works just as well and for me is more seamless when using bluetooth to stream - because switching from podcast to Apple Music to Spotify to SiriusXM to TuneIn works great on my phone, and I don't have to set up my accounts in the Tesla app. This makes it simpler to get in/out of the vehicle and have whatever I'm currently listening to automatically stay with me, switching into the car's speakers automatically from the phone's speakers or earbuds when getting in to drive somewhere, and back to the phone or earbuds at destination. What am I missing?

My number one reason why I want the SiriusXm app active in my truck is because about 23 years ago I paid $1600 for 2 lifetime subscription for SiriusMX. One subscription in a portable radio and one subscription that is currently active in my old Chevrolet Avalanche that I sold. The new owner of my Avalanche is enjoying my lifetime SiriusXM subscription for free that I paid for and I didn't sell him my truck with the intension of giving away my lifetime subscription.
SiriusXM claims that they are working on making the Cybertruck and other Tesla models, that have the SiriusXM app only, have the ability to transfer lifetime subscription to the vehicle. Mean while they activated the SiriusXM app in my CyberTruck for a year for the small fee of $5.

So the Cybertruck app didn't you log in as streaming under your existing portable radio account?

I get that, have exactly the same situation - two lifetime subscriptions from more than 20 years ago. One is on my wife’s Porsche after multiple $75 transfers, and I parked the other on my daughter’s Honda until/if I need it for something else. I also had a couple others, one on a sailboat, another attached to a home automation system, both of which I no longer own. I guess the new owners are enjoying those. Given the switch to Tesla driving, I see no reason to worry any more because I have full streaming anyway, and enjoy driving the experience natively from the iPhone rather than a proprietary app, as described above,

eff sirius. I have a Ridgeline that HAD a subscription. I had the free 2-3 month trial so when it was over i wanted to get the same deal for the CT. It was only 5 bucks a month, so we go through the sign up process and they want my email. I tell them they have it on file with my other truck...They say I need a different email. CANCEL. I only listened to radio classics anyway, heard every song on the planet 10,000 times in my life. I drove a truck 10-16 hours a day fro 40+ years so I heard them all, many, many times.

I have a lifetime subscription and I also want to transfer it to my cybertruck . Sirius said they won't honor it for the cybertruck. Someone needs to start a class action suite . We paid for lifetime and they can't change the rules after we paid and our payment helped the platform to get off the ground.
