I think the people with the lower VINs are, in general, rich people with connections and not particularly EV or Tesla fanatics. Being such, I doubt we'll hear much from them other than the odd social media post.

Interesting story: a few years back I was at my local Tesla service center picking up my low-ish vin Model X and was shooting the breeze with the service center tech about other customers. He said there's a lady in northern Michigan who has a few Tesla's that they've worked on. She's pretty wealthy and a big casino gambler, so of the few Tesla's she owns, she always gets VIN 007 because 7 is a lucky number to her.

They are all Elon's friends. Those who can reach out to Elon directly, these people might even know about the Cybertruck before it was even announced to the public.

The reddit guy said that Elon's team reached out to him, and he said he just wanted to look cool dropping his daughter off at school lol. He's made one social media post about it that I've seen, definitely doesn't seem the type to do an enthusiast/analyst breakdown

Leno didn't say it was his, he said it was his friends who lent it to him.

Who know, maybe he pushed his friend to vin #6 and he just held on to #5.

get it?
